Biomass heat and electricity generation plant
Not only using commersial energy, the village creat own energy by Forest. We propose the co-generation system of Wooden Biomass generation. Steam is converted to electricity and high temperature water. During long cold winter, each house gets energy from heating pipe that circulating entire village. Also those heat can be diverted for snow melting system, Bath, or green house. Tomato is one of the famous products of Shimokawa.
Energy Supply Route
High temperature water pipe in common duct is connecting the plant, village and Yamabiko school. Putting every infrastructure in the common duct, maintenance is quiet easy. Because utility poles are not necessary, the landscape will be clear. The heating pipe is continuing into the village. A RC pit has enough height to snow. The pit is also used for utility space.
