Towada City Community Plaza Proposal
A new community plaza will be in central active area based on the concept of Towada City Museum and Outside Art and Culture Zone. Not only this building, but also it is important to make city that what people can make excursion easily. The new community plaza is also in commercial area. So, this plaza is supposed to have a function of convenience and broading amusement to the city. By people coming to the plaza, new connection among people will happen. This community plaza should be a circulation system such as a heart pumping vitalities for city. A size of the plaza is about one city block, however, we hope a slow metabolism will happen, instead of doing rapid development and getting high impact to the city. We propose a step by step but implicit changes. We hope that the building will be merged with environment, and become a part of life of people with some arts. That is a goal of the designing this community plaza.
